Ultra-Sound Guided Injections

One of the more exciting advances in pain management treatments is the use of musculoskeletal ultra-sound machine to help diagnose and guide injections such as Synvisc-One ® knee injections, steroid Injections or Stem Cell – Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections. The most common areas for using ultra-sound are the shoulders and knees.

drZaman complete a thorough physical exam and utilize the ultra-sound machine to further accurately diagnose injury. Ultra-sound guidance can make it possible to inject structures that otherwise would not be attempted, and also can improve the effectiveness and safety of many injections by helping pinpoint the injured structure as well as helping to prevent piercing of nerves, blood vessels etc.. This advanced technique offers better results to our patients and positive outcomes.
